HOW TO USE THE ABU PORTAL: SCHOOL FEES PAYMENT
Good morning readers,
Lately there’s been a lot of cases about students that registered a course and when there exams card is printed they can’t find the course on it, only to check there portal and the course has been removed. Now this is usually done by a friend that knows your password or that cafe guy you told to help you do you course registration.
This has really placed a lot of student in trouble; either they have to carry over the course or keep going round exam officers office(they are never around…trust me) or academic office in senate building or MIS office. This can really be tedious.
I’ll take you on a step to step process on how to use the portal.
First let’s talk about school fees payment.
Watch out for our next post on how to do your course registration
Step1: Log in to the portal https://portal.abu.edu.ng
Step2: type your username (your registration number e.g. u19pp1001) and password (state of origin if you’ve not changed it) click on login below.
Now you are on the portal with a message “you have not made payment for the academic session”
Step3: Click on the school fees tab out of every other tab like course registration, Accommodation etc
Select the blue link that carries the session (e.g. 2018/2019 session)
Step5: Select your payment method/ card type and enter your card details. If payment is successful, a message would be displayed on the page “Payment successful” and you’ll be redirected to back to you portal page
Step6: Now click on the school fees tab again and this time a message that reads “you have made payment for this academic session”. Click on the session again and you payment page would appear with “Transaction is Paid” message below
Now you have successfully payed your school fees right?
I just saved you 200 naira you would have given to the cafe guy.
Comment below if you have a question and we would get right to it
