SPECIAL BULLETIN: ABU BAN EX-BOYS ASSOCIATION, NUESA AND MORE…MY VIEW
A Bulletin released by the student affairs division signed by it’s Dean on 20/03/2019
Just before you start reading, let me tell you what I feel about this move.
It’s a plan to totally silent student and reduce a tertiary institution to a secondary school.
Most of those people making these laws benefitted heavily from these “BANNED” associations in their days but they somewhat feels the next generation does not deserve this freedom.
I pity you all for this continual silence… Till we are pushed to our graves.

Ahmadu Bello University,Zaria Bans Students
The management of Ahmadu Bello University,Zaria has reportedly announced to the university community and the general public of it’s decision to ban and proscribe some clubs,unions alongside students Associations from the University with immediate effect.
(A)The said clubs/Unions that are proscribed are as follows;
(I) Nigerian Universities Engineering Students Associations (NUESA)
(II) Nigerian Universities Education Students Association (NUESA) and all departmental clubs unions in the faculty of Education.
(B)Those banned are;
(I) Engine 313
According to the University,the decision was made to allow peace and orderliness to prevail in the university.
To further prove their seriousness on the said issue,the university has asked the university security service to monitor and report any erring proscribed or banned associations/members for disciplinary actions.
